EVIDENCE LIBRARY

Claims are cheap. Evidence should be inspectable.

Approved public methodology, negative results, diagnostic examples and evidence explainers. No manufactured track record. No fictional Radar card. No cherry-picked screenshot presented without context.

Methodology

Public research methodology note

A public-safe account of mechanism definition, baseline custody, market-state review, causality, realistic costs, validation and evidence states.

Failed experiment

A complete research run with zero survivors

A disclosed QuantLab qualification case in which two complete 256-row runs produced zero robust survivors. Completion did not override the governing rejection.

X-Ray-style diagnostic

Redacted strategy-diagnosis framework

A disclosure-safe diagnostic example that separates implementation, port fidelity, costs, data, regime and statistical explanations. It is an internal strategy example, not a paying-client case.

Costs, context and failure states

Public research on spread, slippage, commission, market context, strategy failure states and why post-cost headroom matters.

INTERNAL QUANTLAB STRATEGY DIAGNOSTIC EXAMPLE

A weaker live result does not identify its own cause.

This redacted internal-research example is not a paying-customer case, testimonial, live-trading result or commercially deployed strategy.

Observed divergence. A research implementation and a platform implementation produced materially different trade paths after costs. The strategy rules, instruments and sensitive parameters remain withheld.

  1. Thesis weakness: checked whether the underlying mechanism had weakened across held-out periods, rather than assuming the code was solely responsible.
  2. Implementation and port fidelity: compared signal timing, indicator warm-up, bar alignment and exit behaviour before comparing headline returns.
  3. Costs and broker/data differences: separated spread, commission, slippage and feed/timestamp effects from pre-cost strategy behaviour.
  4. Regime dependence: examined whether the divergence concentrated in market states historically hostile to the mechanism.
  5. Parameter fragility: tested whether small, preregistered perturbations caused disproportionate outcome changes.
  6. Statistical variation: compared the observation with the historically plausible distribution instead of treating a short losing interval as proof of failure.

Diagnostic disposition. The evidence did not support one convenient explanation. Port-fidelity and execution differences required remediation before the remaining thesis and regime questions could be interpreted. The correct next step was to repair measurement comparability, not optimize parameters until the backtest improved.

DISCLOSURE DISCIPLINE

Evidence appears only when the underlying artefact is real and approved.

The Radar evidence-card position is prepared in the content model but remains unpublished until an approved real Radar opportunity completes the intended evidence path.

QuantWeaver will not substitute a fictional example and present it as proof.
